JERA has acquired a 100% interest in the El Sauz onshore wind farm project in Texas, USA, through its subsidiary, JERA Renewables NA, LLC.

The project will construct, own, and operate an approximately 300MW onshore wind farm in Willacy County, Texas. Construction began in early 2022, and commercial operation started in October 2024.
