JERA, along with Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA), submitted a proposal for a gas cogeneration project for a petrochemical complex, owned by the Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP), a joint venture company of Saudi Aramco and TotalEnergies, located in Jubail industrial city of Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. We have been awarded the project in December 2023. This project will be providing electricity and steam for 25 years after planned commissioning in 2027. The project also has provision for future decarbonization.
