Cricket Valley Gas Thermal IPP ProjectOur Company / Investment Projects

In January 2017, JERA acquired the equity stake in Cricket Valley Energy Center, the operating company of a natural gas thermal power project in New York, U.S.A. through its wholly-owned subsidiary.
Since April 2020, Cricket Valley Energy Center has been operating a natural gas-fired combined cycle power generation plant with a power generation capacity of 1,100 MW. The power produced will be send on the wholesale electricity market in New York and contributes to the reliable supply of electricity.
