JERA, through its subsidiary, owns Green Power Investment Corporation (GPI) jointly with NTT Anode Energy Corporation (NTTAE).

GPI is a leading renewable energy power development and generation company, dedicated to the development, construction and operation of renewable energy facilities in Japan since its foundation in 2004 and is one of the largest onshore and offshore wind platforms in Japan. NTTAE, JERA and GPI will cooperate together in further enhancement of the corporate value of GPI utilizing resources of NTTAE particularly for onshore wind projects and of JERA for the offshore wind projects.
