As a wholly owned company established by JERA, JERA Global Energy Solutions (JERA GES) brings together strategy, portfolio management and market development that enable JERA to build a competitive, stable and diversified LNG and lower-carbon fuels portfolio. It is responsible for developing and managing JERA’s long-term LNG portfolio through upstream investments, LNG origination, shipping, and long-term sales, while advancing lower-carbon fuels such as ammonia and hydrogen.
JERA GES and JERA Global Markets (JERAGM) work seamlessly by leveraging their respective strengths to maximize value for JERA. The two companies have complementary roles within JERA’s integrated LNG platform: JERA GES manages long-term LNG portfolio strategy, while JERAGM operates as JERA’s exclusive trading and optimization business.

Ryosuke is responsible for providing strategic guidance and ensuring close alignment between JERA GES and JERA’s broader LNG and lower-carbon fuel strategy. With a career spanning over three decades, Ryosuke has devoted himself to the global energy sector. He possesses deep expertise in LNG projects and a profound understanding of the LNG value chain.
Prior to this role, Ryosuke spent over three decades at Mitsubishi Corporation, where he held key senior positions such as Senior Vice President and Division COO in the energy sector.

Chief Executive Officer, JERA Global Energy Solutions
Irtiza is responsible for leading the business strategy and operations of JERA Global Energy Solutions. Irtiza brings extensive international experience, broad business leadership, strong business acumen, and deep cross-functional expertise to support the growth and performance of the business.
Prior to this role, Irtiza spent nearly two decades at Exxon Mobil Corporation in a range of global leadership roles across commercial and business development, finance, mergers and acquisitions, strategy and planning, upstream operations, and analytics.
