JERA establishes a New Management Structure. Taking on the Challenge of Solving the World's Energy Issues
24 February 2023On February 22, 2023, a new management structure effective April 1 was announced at JERA's headquarters. Toshihiro Sano, Chairman and Representative Director, and Satoshi Onoda, President and Representative Director, will retire, and Yukio Kani, Director, Corporate Vice President, Managing Executive Officer, will become the new Chairman of the Board, Global CEO, and Hisahide Okuda, Director and Corporate Vice President, Managing Executive Officer will become the new President, Director, CEO, and COO, respectively.
The following are the voices of Mr. Kani and Mr. Okuda, who will newly take the helm of JERA to take on the challenge of "solving the world's energy issues" by leading the way in the stable procurement and supply of energy and further decarbonization of the energy industry.
