JERA Agrees to Transfer Equity Shares in Chang Bin, Fong Der, Star Buck Gas Thermal IPP in Taiwan2025/07/07
JERA Co., Inc. (JERA) has agreed to transfer all of its equity shares in the three gas-fired independent power producers (IPP) in Taiwan, namely, Chang Bin, Fong Der, and Star Buck, to Taiwan Cogeneration Corporation (TCC), the largest IPP operator in Taiwan. This transfer is part of JERA’s strategic asset reallocation in Asia.
Under its “JERA Zero CO₂ Emissions 2050” vision, JERA aims to achieve net-zero CO₂ emissions from both domestic and international operations by 2050. JERA remains committed to supporting sustainable growth and development across Asia, including Taiwan, and contributing to the broader global community.
