JERA to Succeed to Parent Companies’ Fuel Transportation and Fuel Trading Businesses2015/09/11
JERA is delighted to announce that it will succeed to both the fuel transportation and fuel trading businesses of Tokyo Electric Power Company, Incorporated and Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. (collectively, the “Parent Companies”). These businesses will be integrated into JERA on 1 October 2015.
The assets that JERA will succeed to are the LNG ship ownership companies and related management companies, and the fuel trading companies of the Parent Companies, as described in the attached List of Succession Assets.
As a result of JERA succeeding to both of these business, its capital will be increased to approximately five billion yen.
JERA intends to make efforts to optimize the use of these assets and maximize the effect of adding these businesses.
