"Create a workplace in which diverse people who work at JERA can shine"
In order to realize our mission and vision, it is essential to remain agile and responsive to rapid changes in the world. I believe that the way of working is the key to acquiring such an attitude and mindset. At JERA, employees with diverse backgrounds work actively. In the process of promoting work style reforms, coming into contact with each other's fresh values and ideas will bring about "mental growth" for each of us. In addition, this should lead to motivation for work and personal growth. I would like to create a company where everyone who works at JERA can lead a fulfilling life with their eyes shining, by taking employees' opinions seriously to make improvements. This is my greatest desire.

"Design diverse ways of working."
We have been taking on the challenge of realizing "JERA Zero CO2 Emissions 2050" with the aim of providing cutting-edge solutions to the world’s energy issues. In order to achieve this goal, we believe that it is necessary to create an environment in which each and every one of our employees can perform to the best of their ability, and maintain a cutting-edge perspective as a global company. The world has changed dramatically in many aspects since 2020. The way we work is one of them. To this end, we will incorporate the opinions of our employees and work to promote flexible work styles that are not restriced by time and place. At the same time, we will promote the use of IT and the creation of a workplace that helps generate innovation as a company, and design diverse work styles through both the soft and hard measures.

Three themes

  • Workstyle
Allowing diverse personnel to work flexibly
For example, we are considering leveling the work flow for remote work so that employees can flexibly choose between office and remote work and establishing a system that allows even remote employees to improve their skills.
  • Workplace
    "Design a workplace"
Supporting diverse workstyles and helping generate innovation
Real communication is also necessary to create new value and generate innovation. We will review the role of the office and aim to create an office that can be used with free ideas, including layout changes or the use of satellites offices.
  • Culture
    "Design a corporate culture"
Recognizing diverse ways of working to be an open ad transparent corporate culture
In designing a new way of working, it is very important to have a new mindset and corporate culture that recognizes diversity. To ensure that our measures do not become a "pie in the sky", we will also focus our efforts on internal training through management support and seminars.
We will update you with the latest information in the future.
