We have learned that a business entity fraudulently claiming to be GFS Renewable Energy Limited* is soliciting investments in renewable energy projects in the United Kingdom. Please be aware that neither JERA Co., Inc. (“JERA”) nor GFS Renewable Energy Limited is engaged in soliciting investments in these types of projects.

* GFS Renewable Energy Limited is a holding company jointly owned by JERA and Development Bank of Japan Inc. for the purpose of investing in the Gunfleet Sands Offshore Wind Farm project off the coast of the United Kingdom.
