Start of Regular Recruitment of New Graduates2021/02/25

JERA Co., Inc. (“JERA”) will start regular recruitment of new graduates in fiscal 2022, when it plans to hire 20 administrative and 60 technical staff for a total of 80 new graduates. Recruitment activities will begin on 1 March 2021.

 

Given trends such as decarbonization and digitalization, the environment for the energy business is changing more dramatically than ever. In order to respond flexibly to change and to maintain a stable supply of energy, JERA needs to periodically secure the personnel who will sustain its future.

JERA has sought to improve its human resources systems and infrastructure in order to create a pleasant working environment that takes into account employee motivation, diversity, and inclusion.

Regular recruitment of new graduates will begin after the foundation for employment has been laid in April 2021 with the transfer to JERA of employees seconded from TEPCO Fuel & Power, Inc. and Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc.

 

When hiring, JERA will aim to secure diverse personnel who identify with its mission "to provide cutting edge solutions to the world’s energy issues” and are capable of adopting a global perspective as they take on bold challenges.

 

By stably securing the personnel that will sustain its future, JERA will pursue technology succession and the creation of new value as it responds to changes such as decarbonization, striving continually to enhance its corporate value.
