JERA to sell share in Goreway Gas Combined Cycle Thermal IPP Project 2019/05/07
JERA Co., Inc. (“JERA”) and Toyota Tsusho Corporation (“Toyota Tsusho”), participants Goreway Gas Combined Cycle Thermal IPP Project in Ontario, Canada, have reached an agreement to sell their respective shares in the project to Capital Power Corporation. The transaction is expected to be completed in or around June 2019. JERA will continue to realize an appropriate assets composition and seek growth in profit in response to changes in the business environment by optimizing the whole portfolio, while reinvestment utilizing with proceeds from sales of assets.
